Agapanthus africanus, also known as Lily of the Nile or African Lily, this beauty has round clusters of blue-violet flowers atop stiff, upright, stalks rising above a dense mound of strap-like green leaves. Blooms in summer. Foliage mounds are attractive when plants are not in bloom. Moderately salt tolerant and prefers well drained soils.
