Astilbe chinensis 'Visions', also known as False Spirea, this beautiful perennial has lovely bronze-green foliage topped with pink-purple flowers. Prefers a partially shady spot and makes a great companion when planted with Hostas. Good for planter boxes and containers. Although Astilbe's are easy to grow, they do require a lot of water. Increase your watering as the foliage emerges and the plumes mature.
