Astilbe arendsii 'Cappuccino', also known as False Spirea, this lovely plant has graceful pure white plumes on contrasting red stems throughout the summer. Dark bronze glossy foliage changes to dark green after flowering time. Perfect for any shady garden with rich, moist soil. Though Astilbe's are easy to grow, they do require a lot of water. Increase your watering as the foliage emerges and the plumes mature.
