Buddleia davidii 'Royal Red', or Butterfly Bushes, are fantastic shrubs whose fragrant, summer flowers are known to attract butterflies by the masses! This low maintenance deciduous shrubs are deer resistant, do best in full sun, and don't like it wet so make sure to plant them in well drained soil. The best of the reds, with rich rose-red flowers up to 20 inches long. Fragrant flowers attract butterflies from late spring to fall. For more flowers and compact plants cut back in late winter.
