This low maintenance deciduous shrubs are deer resistant, do best in full sun, and don't like it wet so make sure to plant them in well drained soil. Beautiful black-purple, fragrant flowers with dark green leaves. Butterflies are attracted to its many flowers all summer. Cut back in early spring for better flowering. Best in full sun.
