Distylium Vintage Jade, also known as Evergreen Witchhazel, is an excellent foundation shrub and a more unique choice to traditional plants such as hollies. It's lush, evergreen foliage allow this plant to be used in many capacities in the landscape. Plant Distylium in full sun and water well over the first few weeks. Once established, they are known to withstand a mild drought. Vintage Jade is a dwarf, compact Distylium with a spreading growth habit. Although not easily spotted it has reddish-maroon blooms appearing sporadically from late January into March.
