Plectranthus scutellarioides, also known as Coleus ColorBlaze® Newly Noir™, this unique foliage features very dark purple to almost black leaves! We tend to focus on flowers in our gardens, but plants with colorful foliage are great additions to gardens. Foliage is a constant presence and a great way to add consistent color to gardens. Newly Noir has deep purple to black foliage and is a wonderful plant for both sunny and shady spots. It grows up to three and a half feet tall, perfect for the middle to back of the bed and it makes a great thriller in combination recipes. We also recommend planting coleus in mono-crop pots.
